The score was for The World To Come

The project that could not be discussed during the 2020 Winter School was the score for The World To Come, composed by Daniel Blumberg. The film stars Vanessa Kirby, Katherine Waterston, Christopher Abbott, and Casey Affleck.
It premiered at the 77th Venice International Film Festival in September 2020, where it won the Queer Lion, and was released in February 2021.
Blumberg went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 2025, for The Brutalist.
